Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Children and extra bed policy

Children of any age are allowed. An extra bed for children 18+ years costs 15 USD per night.

Cleanliness

Multiple guests explicitly noted very clean rooms; even older rooms were described as clean despite being worn.

Service

Staff generally described as friendly, helpful and polite with good guest services and 24/7 parking security, though a few guests found staff merely polite rather than warm.

Location

Consistently praised location in Koreatown, walking distance to food and convenient for attractions (some rooms with Hollywood-sign views); a few guests noted the surrounding area or photos can be misleading.

Room Quality

Mixed reports: upper-floor rooms recently updated and comfortable (good beds), while other rooms were worn, dated, with broken hangers, old vanity and minor damage.

Amenities

Several mentions of missing or reduced amenities due to renovation (no coffee in rooms, no vending, lobby stripped, limited services); parking available but charged.

The Koxie Hotel, previously known as Rotex Hotel, embodies modern, chic accommodation in the lively Koreatown district of Los Angeles. It features 50 contemporary, spacious guest quarters with flat-screen TVs, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, mini-fridges and coffee machines, a 24/7 front desk, Hong Yeon restaurant and Café Yeon.
